At Jumpin Jacks Day Nursery we aim to provide quality childcare and preschool education for children age 6 months to 8 years. We are proud of our safe, caring and child friendly environment where all children, parents and carers are welcomed and immediately become part of our nursery family. Our highly qualified, passionate and experienced staff provide a homely atmosphere within a bright, airy, well equipped nursery. All children are at the heart of our nursery and we celebrate each child recognising the role we play in shaping their futures. Each child is respected, valued and recognised as an individual with an emphasis on learning through play, with lots of praise and hugs along the way!

Our Rooms

Buttercups Room
Our Buttercups baby house is separate from the main nursery with its own individual sleep room and garden. We have friendly and caring staff within our homely environment to help create a home from home for your child. We strive on working together with parents and carers to support your child’s home routine and work closely on building a foundation for your child’s future learning. We introduce your child to range of wonderful activities to develop their experiences. This not only helps improve their dexterity but supports their first steps into a lifelong learning journey.
Lillies Room
Within our Lillies Room, we support the independence of each individual child throughout our flexible daily routine. We have a safe stimulating environment to support the children to explore their curiosity and extend on their ideas. The key person system within the nursery, allows children to form positive attachments, building on relationships with adults which supports friendships with peers to be formed. The range of challenging outdoor equipment enables children to explore and develop their physical ability through gross motor movements. We focus primarily on following the interests of each individual child, enhancing the environment to support their learning.
Daisies Room
In the Daisies Pre-School room, we support school readiness through a structured routine and focused activities. The safe and stimulating environment allows the children to develop independence and gain confidence in developing their individuality. The routine allows group reflections to take place, supporting children to listen to others views and opinions as well as expressing their own. The children are given the opportunity to experience the world around them through educational trips such as the farm, nature walks, library visits and many more. Within the large garden which mirrors the indoor environment, children extend their knowledge of the natural world, understanding the importance of physical activity and are encouraged to make healthy choices in relation to food which is supported through our gardening area.
