Welcome to Our Pre-School Rooms!
Our Pre-School Room is a thoughtfully designed environment where children prepare for the next exciting step in their learning journey and achieve school readiness. Here curiosity, independence and confidence are encouraged every day through purposeful play, early learning activities and meaningful experience. Our children enjoy a variety of activities that help them learn and grow in fun, meaningful ways. They are able to take part in friendly church sessions that introduce our community values, join in with music lessons where they can sing, move and explore instruments, and enjoy sport sessions that help them build confidence and stay active. Our phonics is taught through playful, hands-on activities that help our children recognise letters, hear sounds and develop early reading and writing skills. These activities give our children the chance to try new things, discover what they love and develop important skills in a happy and supportive environment.
Our team of skilled practitioners including two early years teachers, supports each child as they develop essential early literacy, numeracy, social and problem-solving skills. We promote creativity, critical thinking and teamwork through a balance of structured activities and child led exploration whether that’s investigating nature, building imaginative stories or working together on hands-on projects.
With warm relationships, a rich curriculum and plenty of opportunities to practise independence, our Pre-School Room helps children feel ready, capable and excited for school. We are proud to support each child as they grow into confident, enthusiastic learners.
Our Pre-School Outdoor Area:
Our Pre-Schoolers benefit from a larger, more challenging outdoor environment designed to spark creativity, teamwork and problem solving. Our pre-school outdoor area offers a variety of spaces designed to support learning and play. Children can explore the sandpit, experiment in the mud kitchen, enjoy quiet time in the calm area and relax or share stories in the reading den. Soon we will also be introducing a forest school area, providing opportunities for nature-based learning and team building. These outdoor spaces encourage creativity, physical development, social skills and a love of nature in a safe and stimulating environment. Whatever the weather our children love spending time outside – learning, discovering and growing in the natural world.
